North Island Woodlot Association

The North Island Woodlot Association strives to provide information about BC woodlots and advocate for excellence in small area tenure and private land management. NIWA's mission is to: promote and demonstrate small-scale forestry; deliver training and meetings to its members and the public; promote the woodlot program; network with other organizations; represent woodlot owners; relay small-scale forestry services. NIWA is one of twenty-three woodlot associations throughout BC belonging to the Federation of BC Woodlot Associations, an umbrella organization that represents the interests of all woodlot licensees and owners in British Columbia.
