Footprint Impacts of Hydroelectric Development on Coarse Woody Debris - An Assessment for Vancouver Island Watersheds

This study aims to quantify the loss of coarse woody debris habitat due to reservoir construction and identify affected terrestrial vertebrate species. The authors explore management strategies to restore or enhance CWD, defining CWD as woody material greater than 10 cm in diameter lying on the ground, including stumps.
